Theobald is a small town of just 10 blocks located on the banks of the Arroyo del Medio, in the Department of Constitución, province of Santa Fe. The first settlements arose in 1886 when a section of the railway line between the towns of Baradero and Rosario was enabled. The town takes its name in honor of Wilson Theobald, a Londoner who was a member and shareholder of the English railway board. Theobald has three schools, an Atlético Recreativo Club, and a Provincial Assistance Center.
