Tribute to the Presidium of ACHOM  –  Споменик на Президиумот на АСНОМ

The Monument to the Presidium of ACHOM is a memorial in Skopje, located in the Woman Warrior Sculpture Park, which symbolizes the first session of the Anti-Fascist Assembly for the National Liberation of Macedonia, or in short form ACHOM, or in English ASNOM. It was a very important event in the formation of the modern Macedonian state, and is often presented in the context of this historical happening. The sculptural artwork was unveiled in 2012 and commemorates the marking of the birth of modern Macedonian statehood in 1944, featuring bronze figures of delegates like Metodija Andonov-Cento and reliefs of the historic first session at Prohor Pcinjski. Located in „Zena Borec Park“, or in English „Woman Warrior Park“, it’s a key symbol of national pride and identity, often central to national holiday celebrations.
