On Nikola Parapunov Street, right at the western end to the Vardar River, there is a complex of buildings. To the south lies the long Partizanski Odredi Boulevard, and to the north, Nikola Parapunov Street curves around this cluster. There are three large residential high-rises, with an open plaza in between; the entire area is heavily paved with concrete and features super ugly prefabricated blocks. There is an upper level intended for “relaxing” and as a “meeting place”, actually it looks more like a prison, and below are various corridors and tunnels leading to garages and former stores in the basement, almost all of which are closed and damaged. Thangs God fortunately there are awesome graffiti artists who bring a bit more color and creativity to this gloomy and dreary setting with their great works. Big ups especially to DRASH, GOOD MOOD RUGS and MIKS, also to many others, who help to beautify this scenery. Or to say it with the words by DRASH: „I don’t want that my children grow up in a place that looks like a post-apocaliptic town“. So yes, color it up! – There is another complex like that next to it on the east, and several more pages will follow to that whole architectural „something“, which are going to be linked and connected. This area is also the homeplace of these mentioned artists with their studios. Therefore it looks a lot better, much warmer and more inspiring, exactly because of all those colorful addtions. Very Big Respect, and the city needs more creative people like you!
