Tribute to Svetlana Kana Radević
Svetlana Kana Radević was born on 21st November 1937 in Podgorica, she was a Montenegrin architect and one of the most important representatives of modern architecture in the former Yugoslavia. She studied architecture in Belgrade and combined modern forms with regional influences and natural materials in her designs. One example of her many famous projects is the Hotel Podgorica, which stands out for its distinctive design and use of natural stone. Radević had a lasting influence on architecture in Montenegro and is considered an important pioneer for women in architecture. She died on 8th November 2000 and local urban artist MIŠO JOSKIĆ made this great mural in memory of her legacy.
