Kaunas has around 315,000 inhabitants and is the second largest city in the country after the capital Vilnius. Worth visiting are the Ninth Forth, the Kaunas Castle and the historic old town. In addition to numerous interesting museums and galleries, there are of course also great works of art below open sky.
