KOSOVO: Priština – Open Cage Mural – MOTS

‘Open cage’. In 2010 in Kosovo keeping bears privately became illegal. Before, lot of them, called ‘restaurant bears’ were held in small, dilapidated cages as a cruel attraction for customers. Four Paws and Bear Sanctuary Prishtina ended this terrible chapter of animal abuse in Kosovo. During Meeting of Styles in Prishtina Jagoda and Diogo from MOTS decided to paint a bear, ‘broken’ by the cage and imprisonment. It is their call for action to animal rights and their  expression of gratitude to the sanctuary and all the people who take care of those animals´ welfare.
