The “World Tree” made by Berlin artist BEN WAGIN
The year is only a few days old and this mural should be synonymous with climate change on earth. Today in the current time of the worldwide movement FridaysForFuture, the mural represents an ambitious contribution to climate protection.
This mural was already painted in 1975 by the artist Ben Wagin in Bachstrasse at the Tiergarten S-Bahn station. It was the first mural of its kind and size in Berlin. The mural at the Tiergarten S-Bahn station had to give way to a new building. Ben Wagin repeated his work of art in 2018 at the new location on Lehrter Straße in Moabit at the Kulturfabrik. A remake.
The artist was supported in creating his new work by the Berlin Mural Fest 2018 with the artists ICKE, KERA1, KOBE EINS, SIZE TWO, YAT, QUINTE55ENZ, MÜCKE32 and RIA WANK.
