Hansa Studios – Legendary recording studios in Berlin.

David Bowie produced his famous song “Heroes” with the album in the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin in 1977 and was inspired by the sight of the Berlin Wall. With this hit, the HansaStudios became famous in the music world.

David Bowie was born on January 8, 1947 in Brixton, London and died on January 10, 2016 in New York. David Bowie lived in Berlin from 1976 to 1978. Bowie’s former home is on “Hauptstraße 156”. Musician colleague Iggy Pop also lived for a while in the seven-room apartment on the first floor of the rather simple old Berlin building in the former West Berlin.
