GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Kreuzberg Görlitzer 37B

These paintings date from the 80s. From the time when the western part of Berlin and especially the district Kreuzberg were characterized by anarchy and punk. Berlin as a gray city, but with a great atmosphere. West Berlin was a surreal sociotope in the 80s with philistines and nuts, punks and squatters between party and riot.  –  Holger Peter
