The facades of the two protruding stairwells on the building at Falckenstein Street 48B are painted with magnificent murals at regular intervals. Left Part: An armoured Boomerang with the symbol of the soviet union flies from east to west. It resembles a plane.
A young girl, fleeing from the east to the west. She is carrying only her most valuable things: Her cat in her backpack and her goldfish in a plastic bag filled with water.
Censored inscription “Fuck The War” – an in Russia illegal symbol of the movement against the Russian aggression.
Right Part: “Birdie”, a bird which became the symbol for the fight for justice in Ukraine, is watching the terrors unfold.
A bomb coming from the east is hitting the house in which artist SOMARI grew up in.
A hand sends a russian warship back (“Russian Warship, Go Fuck Yourself”) east, depicted as the Kreml and drowning in blue blood.
An anti-tank “Hedgehog” as the symbol of ukrainian resistance. Built by ukrainian artists, who have to use their skills to defend their country. – Art For Ukraine
