The Box in Buch was inaugurated! – February 2017
The GANGWAY collective abou the project: The time has come, after a winter of brainstorming, we have now been able to open the former HOWOGE info box. Last year, HOWOGE approached our team and made the building available to us. After working with young people to put up curtains, remove the glaring ceiling lights and get new furnishings, we were able to inaugurate the box on 9th February 2017 with a joint movie night. We enjoyed the movie and the new ambience of the box with snacks and soft drinks.
The young people from Buch and Karow who were there are already looking forward to more activities with us in the box. We want to continue to use the box as a meeting place and offer and carry out further activities and events there together with young people. Currently, a parents’ meeting has been taking place every Wednesday since the beginning of March, where young parents have the opportunity to talk informally about being parents and their children. Further projects will follow in the near future. We would like to thank HOWOGE once again for providing us with the Infobox, which gives us the opportunity to initiate selective and long-term projects in Buch and thus do something for the community. – 14th March 2017 – Gangway
