Tribute to Charles Aznavour
Charles Aznavour was born in Paris on May 22nd 1924 and died in Mouriès on October 1st 2018. He was an Armenian-French chansonnier, songwriter, composer and film actor. The statue was created by the artist MARCO MARIN, who specialized in objects and portrait sculptures with optical effects. He was born on August 10th 1967 in São Paulo, Brazil, but lives and works meanwhile in Monaco. The work was inaugurated in the park Jardin de L’Arménie on May 16th 2024 by Mayor Christian Estrosi in the presence of the musician’s son Mischa Aznavour.
