Tribute to Carlo Felice
The Statue de Charles-Félix de Savoie, also called Monument to Charles-Félix de Sardaigne alias Carlo Felice is located on Square Guynemer overlooking the port of Lympia. He was duke of Savoy and then king of Sardinia from 1821 to 1831. The sculpture was erected in 1829 and created by drawer, designer and architect PAUL-ÉMILE BARBERI. He was born on 28th September 1775 in Rome, Italy and died on 3rd February 1847 in Nice.
