The Villa des Arènes is a landlord building built between 1670 and 1685 and was a beautiful villa in the typical Genoese style with a colorful façade decorated with trompe-l’œil decorations and numerous wall paintings. The whole park
Directly in front of the villa you can find a big metal tripod installation and there are several more artwors you should walk by. Of course the famous Matisse Museum, but also the whole park which is themed in Jazz musician style, the walkways are named to famous legends and you can find a sculpture of Louis Armstrong and another one of Lionel Hampton. Even the Garbage Bins offer interesting painted urban artworks.
