Streetart Macau – Urban art in the “Las Vegas of Asia”

Macau was a Portuguese colony until December 20th, 1999 and belonged to their territory, since then the island city is a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. Located on the southern coast of mainland China, Hong Kong is just across the Pearl River Delta. Macau is known for its huge casinos, countless shopping malls and especially the 338 meter high Macau Tower, therefore the bustling metropolis with about 680,000 inhabitants is also called “Las Vegas of Asia”.
