CANADA: Streetart Montréal – Downtown – 15a Rue Sherbrooke – JONATHAN BOROFSKY

The “human” structures

Here is a great contemporary sculpture by american artist JONATHAN BOROFSKY with the title : The “human” structures. The work of art is installed at the main entrance of the McGill University campus in downtown Montreal. It’s adds a touch of color in the middle of the monumental entrance of the institution. The entrance is named the “Roddick Gates” or “Roddick Memorial Gates” which was donated in 1924 by Amy Redpath Roddick in memory of her late husband, Sir Thomas George Roddick, a renowned doctor and dean of the Faculty of Medicine from 1901 to 1908.  –  Patrice Loranger
