The sixth Sphere of Culture
Emerging Montreal artist DOMINIQUE DESBIENS studied graphic arts in the early 1990s. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he produced several murals in different neighborhoods of Montreal. Few of them survive to this day. Since then, he has devoted himself to personal work in painting.
The mural “The sixth Sphere of Culture” is an important testimony to the artist’s early period. We can still admire it and apprehend the artist’s talent when we leave our Sunday shopping at the Jean-Talon market. – Patrice Loranger
