CANADA: Streetart Montréal – Quartier des Spectacles – 2022 Rue Jeanne-Mance – CLAUDE DAGENAIS & JACQUES SABOURIN

This is the oldest mural in Montreal. It was created by CLAUDE DAGENAIS and JACQUES SABOURIN in 1972. Montrealers remember that the mural was originally an advertisement for a brand of cigarettes. However, advertisements for tobacco products have been banned in Canada. Fortunately, the artwork associated with it has survived ! – Patrice Loranger
