The Pond
Here is a mural representing a pond. It is part of a small square in the heart of the Verdun district. This is an example of the city’s attempts to break through the heat islands that plague Montreal. In summer it can be very hot and humid here. The square includes, in addition to the mural, misters, some trees and structures to provide shade for citizens. – Patrice Loranger
