CANADA: Streetart Montréal – Downtown – 2177 Rue Bishop – MELISSA DEL PINTO

Tribute to Picasso of the North

In this mural, MELISSA DEL PINTO wanted to pay tribute to NORVAL MORRISSEAU, a Canadian painter of Anishinaabe origin who died in 2007. Morrisseau is often considered the grandfather of contemporary Aboriginal art in Canada. He is often nicknamed the Picasso of the North!  –  Patrice Loranger
