The Montreal great Beast
This great junk sculpture was made by JUNKO. I like the creatures that this artist creates with all kinds of objects that he picks up everywhere. The beast is perched on top of a hill from where it watches the highway and downtown in the distance. The location is Glen Path Hill on the site of the Mcgill University Health Centre (MUHC or CUSM in French). I see the beast every morning as I drive down the highway to work. A little something disturbing. As if the beast was preparing to glide towards the city to attack it! – Patrice Loranger
Check out as well the fantastic “Malnourished Cat” made by JUNKO
