Pleasure Of Reading
Mile End is a multi-ethnic neighborhood that has always been a location for immigration. In the heart of Montreal, close to services and well equipped with shopping streets, several communities have passed through and rubbed shoulders there. For several decades, the Hasidic Jewish community has invested and energized the neighborhood. Produced at a school for young girls from the Belz Hasidic community, this work contributes to fostering intercommunity dialogue and building links between communities. – Patrice Loranger
