The artist ALAIN CADIEUX was born in Ville LaSalle. In the 1980s, he taught ceramics and was instrumental in creating a cultural centre as he was obtaining his master’s degree in visual arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is a set designer and the general director of the art agency Universcène in Montréal, a company specializing in the manufacture of sets and accessories for stage, cinema, television and design.
