Tétreaultville
Tétreaultville was founded in 1907. Pierre Tétreault, a major landowner in the area, decided at that time to subdivide his land. Legend has it that he made his fortune in mining in Montana! The new municipality was incorporated in 1907, but in 1910 was annexed to Montreal. Despite its brief existence, the people of the area continue to affectionately refer to their neighborhood by this name. – Patrice Loranger
