MONTENEGRO: Streetart Podgorica – Momišići – Mila Radunovića 2 – Bird of Peace – LADA PEROVIĆ

This great installation statue named „Bird of Peace“ was made by local artist LADA PEROVIĆ out of decommissioned guns. It’s a call for ending all wars all over, a shout out for peace. The sculpture was created thanks to the joint efforts of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro and Pax Christi Netherlands. The realization of the project was contributed by the Forum of Women of Montenegro, the Process Facilitator Zoran Xustudija, the Workshop Collaborator Ratko Sekulović, and artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia.  –  Montenegro, Podgorica, November 2004
