The colorful mural on the facade of the “Dimitar Miladinov” Elementary School in Skopje was created in 2019. The large-scale mural was designed by the well-known Macedonian streetart duo MLADEN GRCHEV aka GVIDO and DREADPEN with support from the graffiti shop and studio HROM. The mural combines child-friendly, vibrant motifs—such as a yellow school bus, imaginative portraits, flowers, and school supplies—with the school’s Macedonian name in Cyrillic script. The artwork was created as part of a local urban art initiative. The goal was to visually enhance the drab concrete facades in the Centar neighborhood and to create an inspiring, friendly learning environment for the children.
