Monument of the Beggar
The sculpture is a poignant bronze statue located near Macedonia Square and the Stone Bridge, it shows a poor and sorrowful looking man begging on the street. The statue was installed in 2009 and made by local artist NATASHA BORHAROVSKA. The beggar is an interesting contrast to the many huge pompous statues around the area and shows some kind of criticism. Presenting real problems in that artwork makes it perfectly fitting into the big collection of various urban statues and sculptures around the whole town.
