Tribute to the Heroes of Macedonia – Споменик Хероите на Македонија
The monument is a significant tribute in Zena Borec Park, or in English Woman Warrior Park, honoring partisans who fought for North Macedonia’s freedom during World War II.The obelisk with angel-like figure at the top and the gate with horses were constructed as a circular monument with pillars, featuring a central, taller structure and the gate with several smaller sculptures. It was unveiled in 2012 and just in front of it to the west is the famous golden Prometheus statue, which is part of the structure, but as well as a special artwork which caused some troubles at first.
