Tribute to 40 years television series Bushava Azbuka
On August 31st in 2025, a magnificent new mural was unveiled in the Debar Maalo neighborhood to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beloved children’s series „Bushava Azbuka.“ The artwork combines familiar characters and letters from the original series with the new protagonists from the animated sequel, „Bukvožder.“ The creators of the long wall painting are the two fantastic local artists DRAGAN KITANOVSKI aka DRASH, and MIROSLAV GRCHEV aka MIKS, with support from the media company Vidi Vaka and the Centar District Municipality. The artwork was inaugurated with a lovely street festival attended by young and old, just as the iconic series has already brought many generations together and helped children learn to read and write since 1985.
