Boatmen of Thessaloniki
The monument „Attendants of Solun & Gemidzii“ was erected in memory of the Boatmen of Thessaloniki, also known as the Assassins of Salonika. They were a Bulgarian anarchist group active against the Ottoman occupation between 1900 and 1903. The monument comprises seven statues of former members and stands on a pedestal surrounded by a metal ring depicting further scenes.
