Tribute to Tsar Samoil – ???????? ?? ??? ??????
King Samoil was one of the last tsars of the first Bulgarian Empire from 997 to 1014. During his reign, Ohrid, on the lake of the same name, became the capital of the Bulgarian Empire. He was born in 958 in Sofia, Bulgaria, and died on October 6, 1014, in the North Macedonian region of Prespa. The statue was created on a rectangular base, on the sides of which metal plates depict sculptural scenes from his life, as well as a name emblem.
