Tribute to Josip Broz Tito – Bust Monument
From the citizens for the citizens of the Municipality of Centar and the City of Skopje. This memorial mark of Josip Broz Tito was inaugurated on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the 2nd Session of ABHOJ, in memory of the 29th November in 1943 in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina. 70 years later in Skopje it is still remembered, Sloboda Square 29th November in 2013.
Josip Broz aka Tito was a president of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1953 till 1980 during its existence. He was born on 7th May in 1892 in Kumrovec, Croatia, and died on 4th May in 1980 in Ljubljana, the present-day capital of Slovenia. Not only was the school named in his honor, but a statue and a bust were also erected in front of it.
