Tiles Art at Ageron Fleurs
The sculptural artist ROGER CAPRON was born on 8th September 1922 in Vincennes and died on 5th November 2006 in Cannes. Besides his numerous ceramics, pottery and porcelaine creations he also wrote several books like „Les Capron: sculptures céramiques“ or „Les Capron céramistes: la vierge et le taureau“. Translated in English it means „Ceramic Sculptures“ and „The virgin and the bull“. On the front façade of the florist store Ageron Fleurs is a tiled part designed by ROGER CAPRON in a series of bubbles. One of the many interesting ceramic graphics that the artist has created in urban spaces. Most passers-by probably don’t even notice them and that they are artistic work, but if you take a closer look, you will discover the artist’s signature. The inside of the flower store is also creatively designed and well worth a visit.
