„Les Laurier Roses“ – „Nerium Oleander“
The Laurier Rose or Nerium Oleander, is a member of the Apocynaceae family. This shrub, which grows spontaneously in the Mediterranean region on rocky banks near streams and valley bottoms, is very common in our gardens and along roadsides. Its adaptation to drought and its highly decorative character make it a very popular plant in the region.
Reaching four meters in height, it forms clumps with vibrant blooms. It is easily recognized by its elongated leaves and its single, double, or triple flowers, with shades of pink, red, or white, which bloom from June to October. But be careful because this beautiful shrub is also a very toxic plant. Due to its excessively bitter taste, humans are very unlikely to eat the leaves, stems, or flowers, but some herbivorous animals could become poisoned after ingesting them. – Les Lauriers Roses
„The children of Ariane. We love Ariane, let’s make it more beautiful! Don’t dirty the walls or building entrances. And keep our neighborhood clean and bright with its beautiful colors!“
