JONATHAN JOSEFSSON Josefsson created the artist name OLLIO during his time as a graffiti artist in Gothenburg in the 2000s. He stood out from the crowd by the way he used tags and placed his paintings. He was also one of the first established graffiti artists to reveal his identity. While studying at HDK-Valand – the University of Art and Design in Gothenburg, he discovered the similarities between the spray cans and the tufting machine used in carpet making. This led him to find a way to transfer his playful artistic expression from painting to carpets. His textile works have been shown in several exhibitions, while he has of course continued to enrich cities with his graffiti.
