„Refugees Welcome?“
HAYFAA CHALABI is an illustrator and storyteller interested in the study of normative narratives. In the mural „Refugees Welcome?“ she explores structural apathy towards refugees in Sweden. The work is a documentation and narration of Sweden’s contemporary history and the nation’s way of dealing with the so-called „Global Refugee Crisis“. This artwork is part of the project ArtMadeThis and was created in 2020.
