MOLDOVA: Streetart Chi?in?u - Urban Art Collection from the Capital

Chi?in?u is the capital of the Eastern European Republic of Moldova. Amidst blocks of Soviet architecture are sights such as the neoclassical cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe in honor of the victory over the Ottoman Empire, or the ?tefan cel Mare Central Park named after a Moldavian prince. In the streets you can also find interesting works of art and beautiful color on the walls. Here we have a collection with magnificent urban creations photographed by ANITA MAURER and graffiti hunter MAZZANTI. „Olympic Dream“ – DMITRI POTAPOV & VICTOR ZUCKER

On May 24th 2024 this mural was inaugurated titled “Olympic Dream” and is dedicated to the national athletes who were going to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. It represents the values ??of sport: discipline, perseverance and team spirit. It has an area of ??approximately 400 square meters and was created in eight days by the artists DMITRI POTAPOV and VICTOR ZUCKER.

Eight young artists from Chisinau painted the fence of the Republican Stadium as part of a creative project in November 2016. The theme of the urban art jam and for the murals was „25 Years of Independence of the Republic of Moldova.“ The young artists depicted historical moments, places, and events that have impacted the country and its capital.
