Bad News Brown (R.I.P.)
This new mural replaces one that was created at the same location in 2014. It pays tribute to Paul Frapper alias Bad News Brown, an emblematic figure of the Montreal Hip Hop scene.
Frappier was found lifeless in 2011 at the age of 33 in an industrial district of Montréal. Frappier’s death was qualified as an assassination by the police since traces of violence were present on his body. To date, no suspect has been arrested.
During his short career, Bad News Brown has opened the shows of Snoop Dog, Kanye West and 50 Cent, among others. The album „Born 2 Sin“ is his only studio album in his career. R.I.P. – Patrice Loranger

The new mural was created in October 2017, but before that there was another fantastic artwork on those walls made in 2014. As well with the same memorial tribute to Bad News Brown. It was designed and created by the same artists, thanks to FLUKE and the fabulous ASHOP CREW again. But unfortunately it was damaged when construction work was done on the wall. So the artists decided to make an even brighter one on top of it, which you could see on the photos above. Here are some images from the previous piece photographed by Mazzanti.
