SYMBIONT is a community of creative forces in food and culture. On their 1400 m² premises in GAMLESTADEN’s FABRIKER, they offer space for businesses in food, art, music, fashion and culture to develop their ideas. At the back of the factory the Lipslider skate ramp will be built, as well the Dancehall Gamlestan, a place where anyone can gather and dance. Some of the buildings are dedicated to small-scale urban primary food productions and the building complex also hosts the Konstkuppen Fabrikerna, which is a unique art gallery. There you can discover art in different forms every Saturday between 12 and 16 o’clock. Another part is the B21 space for concerts, club activities and music. The same space also serves as a large indoor arena and a fair with industrial charm. Regularly there are different venues, flea markets and movement workshops. Urban art fits perfectly to this place and several artists decorated the facades of the buildings with some beautiful artworks.
