“Non Violence” – “The Knotted Gun”
CARL FREDRIK REUTERSWÄRD was a Swedish painter and sculptor who lived from 4th June 1934 till 3rd May 2016. This smaller version of his famous peace artwork is titled “Non Violence” and was created in 1997. There are currently more than 30 copies of the sculpture around the world, the first and original one of those oversized Colt Python 357 Magnum revolvers was made in 1984 and is located in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
