Millesgården is an art museum and sculpture park in the municipality of Lidingö near Stockholm and was the home and studio of the Swedish artist couple OLGA and CARL MILLES until 1931. The museum at the adress Herserudsvägen 32 is stocked with countless works by the two creative people, but the park around the building with its numerous free-standing sculptures is even more interesting. CARL MILLES died in 1955, his wife OLGA in 1967. In 1999 the museum opened on the site, designed by architect JOHAN CELSING. Since then exhibitions with Swedish and international artists have been held regularly. Here we have a collection of images taken by photographer CELIA A.
