Malacca is a coastal city in southwestern Malaysia with a population of approximately 579,000 inhabitants. Special attractions are the 17th century Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the Kampung Kling Mosque or Jonker Street in Chinatown with interesting antique stores and the famous night market. Malacca is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008 and meanwhile also with interesting urban art in our archive.

Streetart George Town – Urban Art Collection on the island Penang
George Town is the colorful and multicultural capital of the 292 km² Malaysian island of Penang, with a population of approximately 178,000 in the city itself and 520,000 in the surrounding catchment area. The city was once an important trading center and is characterized by buildings from the British colonial period, Chinese commercial and residential buildings and mosques. Outside the old town, a modern city has grown up with skyscrapers, shopping malls and a cable car.

Streetart Johur Bahru – Urban Art from the “New Jewel”
Johor Bahru translates into English as “The New Jewel.” This is the port city in the truest sense of the word, both culturally, spiritually and artistically. The metropolis is one of the country’s most important economic centers, is home to about 1.7 million people and is located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, directly opposite the island of Singapore. Colloquially, the city is referred to as “JB” in the region. Due to its proximity to Singapore, the city has become a transportation hub with a high volume of trade. Sights are the Sultan’s Palace “Istana Besar” from 1866, the park “Istana Garden Johor” as well as the Abu Bakar Mosque, the Church of the Immaculate Conception and the Sri Mariamman Temple.
