GERMANY: Streetart Hamburg – Eulenkrug 164 – Stone Chain Project

A wonderful project that started in April during the Corona pandemic at the school in Eulenkrug Street with some painted stones. Meanwhile there are more than 250 of these colorful created little artworks with great graphics and messages. They emody the connection between all humans and try to motivate with the task to create an own stone for the growing chain.

There is also an introductory letter: “The stones are part of a game! Dear children and school Eulenkrugstraße, dear teachers and educators, dear parents and children, dear grandparents, neighbors, walkers and everyone else, let us form a colorful stone snake as a sign of joy and community in the Corona period! Simply paint a stone at home for each person. Make it as weatherproof as possible and there are no limits to your creativity! Place your stone at the end of the snake. Do you think the snake will come around the school? We are excited to see how far we can make it! We stick together and are happy when the school opens again. Stay healthy and get started!”
