MYANMAR: Streetart Mandalay - Graffiti, One Piece & Monsters at the Irrawaddy River

Mandalay is a metropolis in the north of Myanmar on the Irrawaddy River with a population of around 1.5 million. It used to be the royal capital in Burmese times, so there are many historical buildings, such as the palace from the Knbaung dynasty or the Kuthodaw pagoda. One Piece Tribute – CLOWN, HLINE NYI, JAMES LANGE, SEZR

One Piece is a manga series by Japanese illustrator Eiichir? Oda that has been running since 1997 and is probably the greatest pirate saga of all time. In a world full of „devil fruits“, which give you special abilities, the members of the Straw Hat Gang fight against villains in search of the legendary treasure „One Piece“. Again and again the leader and idealist Monkey D. Luffy manages to survive dangerous adventures and find more followers for his movement by relying on absolute loyalty and family friendship. Since 1997, a new episode of the series has been published weekly in the manga magazine Sh?kan Sh?nen Jump as a drawn manga and later as a telivision anime episode. Some artists in Mandalay are also big fans of this fantastic epic and pay tribute to it with special works in urban spaces. Here follows a collection of One Piece graffiti! Gomu Gomu no!

One Piece Tribute – „Caesar Crown“

Caesar is a scientist who has experimented side by side with Dr. Vegapunk on Punk Hazard. He is also the leading expert on weapons of mass destruction. This suggests that he is a highly intelligent man. But also a complete psychopath.

One Piece Tribute – „Donquixote Doflamingo“

Donquixote Doflamingo, aka Doffy, given the name Tenyasha by the navy, but also called Joker in the underworld, is a descendant of the Donquixote family, but without status as a world aristocrat, and was as well a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, also called Seven Samurai or ?ka Shichibukai. Those are not existin anymore and his doings got finished by Luffy. Like a mafia boss, he run an organization whose business includes trading in slaves, weapons of mass destruction and artificial devil fruits. With his gang, he conquered and occupied the land of Dressrosa until Luffy defeated him with the Straw Hat Gang. He is currently jailed in Impel Down maximum security prison.

One Piece Hero: DONQUIXOTE DOFLAMINGO – DON QUICHOTTE DE FLAMINGO – DOFFY

Powers: Allows the user to create an unlimited number of threads from their body and use them either as a weapon or to manipulate people.

One Piece Tribute – „Lorener Zorro“

Lorenor Zorro is a member of the Straw Hat Gang. He is also known as the Pirate Hunter aka Kaizoku Gari. He is the first crew member that Luffy was able to recruit for his team on his journey. Like Luffy he has a strong dream, he wants to become the best swordsman in the world. Basically, he is Luffy’s first and most loyal companion, a bit cold, but in the end his closest brother. And he is developing his abilities without the devil fruits, the way to become the master of swordsmanship. He just has a bit of trouble with coordination, actually he always gets lost and is running around elsewehre. But in the end he arrives at the right time and sabers everyone apart.

One Piece Hero: LORENOR ZORRO – ZORRO

Devil Fruit: no devil fruit! – sword master – one sword, two sword & three sword techniques

Powers: Haki on super high levels, developing to more, potential to reach master swords man level, teached by Mihawk Dulacre

One Piece Tribute – „Sakazuki – Akainu“

Sakazuki aka Akainu is the current Grand Admiral of the Navy and was a rival of Kuzan and Borsalino at the beginning of the series, who were also vying for the admiral position. His admiral’s name is Akainu, which means red dog. His psyche, his heart, his soul, is probably taken over by magma. On the one hand, he tries to implement absolute justice, but reflection and criticism are difficult. He is completely instrumentalized by the authorities and acts as the head of the navy, he is also responsible for the death of Puma D. Ace, the brother of Monkey D. Luffy. Not a biological brother, but a spiritual one, they grew up together.

Rob Lucci, also known as „Massacre Weapon“, was the strongest agent of Cipherpol No. 9, aka CP9. Unlike the other eight Cipherpol units of the World Government, the existence of this group is kept secret. He is now with Cipherpol Aigis, one level even higher. Agent and spy work at the superb level. Fittingly the inventor also gave him the Leopard fruit, which makes him not only strong, but also super fast.
