Tapolca is a small town in the Central Transdanubia region with around 14,000 inhabitants. The industrial center is known for the extraction of several mineral resources, but the various natural attractions at nearby Lake Balaton and the historical sites in the surrounding area are certainly much more interesting. One highlight is the Talpoca Lake Cave, which can be visited by boat, as well as Malom Lake, the Csobanc castle ruins and Szent György-hegy Mountain with the Bazaltorgonák nature trail. These great photos of urban art around town were taken by the world explorers Thomas Adventurer and Diana Beekvelt, also known as NOMADS ON WHEELS.
