SERBIA: Streetart Belgrade - Stari Grad - Takovska Underground - METOD's Urban Art Gallery - BAD EGG, TEUFL & others

Under the block of houses and parking lots between Bulevar Despota Stefana and Takovska streets is an underground area with various stores, hairdressers, restaurants, bars and a shooting range. The several corridors are decorated with great works of art, some of which date back to 2013 and are still there. Most of the works were created by the artist METOD and you can clearly see his preference for cult films and comics, whose heroes he often uses as his mural motifs. Here is a collection of this hidden and exciting subterranean art gallery. You could call it METOD’s Underground Gallery. At the western upstairs exit of the unterground passage also begins the magnificent Backyard Gallery with several more fantastic works by METOD and many other artists.
