This is actually the largest and longest mural in the whole of Belgrade, as it stretches along a block of houses across an entire street. It’s not particularly colorful or eye-catching, rather artistic additions have been added to the building to make it look more interesting and diverse. There are no large structures, faces or graphics, it’s more a delicate freshening with some colors and details to make it looking more impressive. From a distance you only recognize the larger parts such as columns, pilars or landscape scenarios, but when you look closer you discover the many details that have been incorporated. There are also several portraits, maybe they got added by other artists later on. It is a very extensive work, on the one hand large and taking up a lot of space, but it also goes into smaller great detail and you can spend a lot of time looking at the many small and different pictures on each part of the big wall, you continously discover something new. The historic building now houses pleasant restaurants and relaxed cafés, and you can easily stop here under the large artwork. Check out as well the mural on the north side around the corner of the building complex which is actually also part of the whole theme, but we gave it an individual page, because it’s on another part of the house and a bit more unique in its style.
