The ancient Egyptian Bent Pyramid is the southern of the two great pyramids at Dahshur and differs from all other Egyptian pyramids because of its unique shape caused by construction problems. It was built around 2650 BC under Pharaoh Snofru, the first king of the 4th Dynasty.
