Past and Present – Holmium & Helleborus Niger
For the Murarte Jam organized by Monkeys Evolution, FABIO PETANI painted the flower Holmium and Helleborus Niger on a wall in line with his pictorial style focused on the study of structures molecular and aspects that are created between objects and plants. Each chemical element, like every vegetable, interacts with the environment surrounding the mural being created. Here the plant breaks the concrete to reclaim its natural space; in the drawing it appears as a shadow that changes appearance, becomes more detailed when it meets circular shapes and, as in an X-ray, transforms the vision. The colors are a soft range of pastels in harmony with each other giving a non-invasive effect to the eye. This artwork was created in 2017. – MAUA MUSEUM
