Booths for Books & Records
The photos you see here were taken on a day when the market was closed. That meant we could photograph everything that was on display. It’s not particularly good, more like poorly crafted stuff, kind of beginners graffiti, but it’s there nonetheless and it’s documented. Maybe, and hopefully, the artists will improve over time. The place itself is a highly recommended meeting spot for people who like flea markets, especially those interested in books and literature. Accordingly, the people who run these shops are also very special and interesting, with a love for their subject matter and a big passion for books. They also see a certain value in them. You can’t just throw a book away, that’s not possible. It’s better to pass it on, give it away, sell it, or continue to use it in some other way. But a book should never be thrown away. It is a valuable cultural treasure, which everyone should admire and respect.
